In today’s post I want to talk about submitting articles to increase web traffic to your website. Not only will you generate traffic to your website you will also, by default, create the following positive results:
- Well written articles will generate back links to your website
- Back links will help your Google Ranking
So, what are the steps to creating and submitting an article online? There are many ways to submit an article but let’s start with some basics of Article creation.
Creating an article
- Be sure to pick a topic for your article that will spark interest and will create value.
- Do your homework and find 3 keyword phrases that are relevant to your article and are good search terms.
- Once you have 3 good keyword phrases be sure to do the following
- Use the keywords in the title of your Article
- Add the keywords to the body of your article and to the end of the article
SEO Prep Work before submitting the article
- Be sure to post your new article to your website first before submitting it to the Article Directories. This will show that you had the content first on your website. This is important for content originality in the Google Algorithm.
- Ping your article on Google by doing a search for your new article post
- Be sure to include the keyword phrases you used in your article in the MetaTags of your webpage. You can have your webmaster do this for you if you are not sure how to do this.
